Imperial Construction is seeking a hands-on Foreman to support multiple projects by performing and managing small-scope construction work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, and keeping jobs moving safely and efficiently.
The Foreman at Imperial Construction is a field leader responsible for executing and managing small-scope construction work across multiple jobsites. This role supports project teams by filling scope gaps, maintaining jobsite productivity, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Imperial’s quality standards.
This is a mobile, field-based role that combines craftsmanship, problem-solving, and coordination. The Foreman plays a key role in keeping projects moving, supporting schedules, and reinforcing Imperial’s commitment to safety, collaboration, and ownership.

Self-Perform Work & Field Execution
- Perform and/or manage hands-on construction tasks including:
- Carpentry, framing, blocking, and backing
- Demolition and drywall patching
- Minor installations and finish work (paint, sealants, trim)
- Complete small scopes of work that are not practical to subcontract
- Perform corrective work such as punch list items, adjustments, and repairs
- Install temporary construction elements (barriers, partitions, protection systems)
- Maintain Imperial’s quality standards in all work performed
- Assist Superintendents with logistics and jobsite improvements
- Support material receiving, verification, and installation
- Help resolve field coordination issues that impact progress
- Maintain clean, organized, and productive work areas
- Follow and enforce OSHA and Imperial safety standards
- Lead by example in safe work practices
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions immediately
- Ensure any labor under your direction works safely
- Communicate daily with Superintendents and Project Managers regarding:
- Work completed and upcoming tasks
- Labor hours and material needs
- Safety concerns and field constraints
- Coordinate work priorities across multiple projects
- Coordinate and direct temporary labor when approved
- Assign tasks and monitor productivity, safety, and quality
- Maintain accountability and clear direction for small crews
- Coordinate movement of tools and equipment between jobsites
- Maintain organization, condition, and proper use of equipment
- Assist with tracking inventory and coordinating repairs
- Identify and help resolve scope gaps and field issues
- Support small subcontractor coordination when needed
- Complete punch list and corrective work during closeout
- Assist with minor warranty work
- Proven hands-on experience in commercial construction
- Strong working knowledge of multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, finishes, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
- Ability to work independently and adapt across multiple projects
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred Experience or Skills
- Experience leading small crews or directing temporary labor
- Strong problem-solving ability in field conditions
- Experience identifying and resolving scope gaps
- Familiarity with jobsite logistics and temporary construction setups
- Cost awareness and ability to work efficiently within labor expectations
- Active, field-based role across multiple jobsites
- Frequent lifting, climbing, bending, and physical construction work
- Exposure to typical construction site conditions (weather, noise, dust)
- Travel between local jobsites as needed
